The British Thoracic Society has published "A respiratory workforce for the future", a report that highlights the current staffing needs on respiratory teams, across skills and professions. The report calls for a number of interventions to improve training, recruitment and retention of NHS staff, but also focuses on long term sustainability and workforce planning.
